Engr. Dr. Yusuf Lateef Oladimeji

A career spanning engineering, public service and technology

Engr. Dr. Yusuf Lateef Oladimeji is a Civil Engineer, Computer Scientist and Procurement Specialist whose professional career combines infrastructure engineering, public-sector administration, project management, procurement and applied information technology.

He served in the Ogun State Civil Service for 35 years, beginning his career as Engineer II and progressing through senior engineering and administrative responsibilities before serving as Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.

His professional experience includes road infrastructure, public works, project implementation, contract administration, procurement, construction supervision, institutional coordination and infrastructure policy implementation.

Career and leadership experience

1991

Entry into Public Service

Joined the Ogun State Civil Service as Engineer II, beginning a career in public infrastructure and works administration.

2020

Permanent Secretary

Appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, providing senior administrative and technical leadership.

2026

Retirement from Public Service

Retired after 35 years of service, while continuing professional, academic, research and technology-oriented activities.
